Subgroups included 525 patients with ADC, 161 with SCC, and 166 with SCLC. An RF classification model was constructed using extracted and selected radiomic features for the purpose of analyzing and classifying primary lung cancers into three subtypes, ADC, SCC, and SCLC, according to histopathological results. The training set (446 ADC, 137 SCC, and 141 SCLC) and the testing set (79 ADC, 24 SCC, and 25 SCLC) constituted 85% and 15% of the entire dataset, respectively.
